Congratulations to Francesco Manacorda on his appointment as the new artistic director of Artissima. Apparently “Since November 2009 he has been working as external curator for the ICA, London”. Eh?!
Francesco was also on the curatorial board of the splendid Volta fair in Basel last year where he helped select a very strong group of UK galleries including Bischoff/Weiss, f a projects, Riflemaker, ROKEBY and Seventeen.
